Anyone convert to LEDS on the rear of a 97-2001 XJ?
Good day fellow CF'ers.
I want to do a full led conversion for the rear of my 2000 Cherokee XJ (black) and I haven't even found the tail lights yet?
I believe one time, back in the day, I saw a housing then you buy leds seperate or something?
ALSO....how hard would it be to adapt a 3rd led brake light where my red 3rd brake light is?
I saw this on ebay...got me thinking... (I know its for a grand)

Anyways...I'm sure someone knows exactly which way to point me

Some jeeps I have done this on, never an xj. But YJ cj and tj all required I buy a special flasher to get them to blink. It was a no load flasher because LEDs have such a low draw they wont flash a regular flasher. The lights I always used were from the big rig shop on the turnpike. 3" round from an east mfg. Dump trailer. But if you have trouble with them flashing you may need a flasher. The brakes and running lights worked fine though. This is the style I mean, I just did this on my YJ.
