I have a 95 XJ, 2.5L, with AX5, 4x4, 249K. I am not getting power to starter solenoid. I only have power at the number 4 and number 7 terminals in the attached picture (the plug at the ignition switch) Does anybody have the rest of the wiring diagram for the wiring on the steering column (that goes to the ignition switch)? I would like to see where the ignition switch gets power from.

Thanks

Kevin

I have some diagrms. There's a bunch dealing with the starter circuit.

You should have power at pin cavities 4 and 7.

Try hooking that connector back up to the ignition switch and back probe pin 1 (14 gauge Yellow wire). Using a voltmeter (+) probe at the back probe and the meter (-) probe to chassis structure (ground), turn the ignition switch to Start. You should see battery voltage if the ignition switch is working.

This Yellow wire goes through connector C108 on its way to the starter relay in the PDC. C108 should be located on the right rear of the firewall. A large black connector with a million wires going through it.

If you hold the key over, and jiggle the shifter in park or neutral and it starts, it's your NSS. http://bc4x4.com/tech/2010/jeep-neut...ty-switch-nss/

New Jeeper posted the same link I would have. I'd go with Kens opinion!
