If you'd like I can link you to the tool, but you'd still need to find the end pieces to crimp on.

Best bet, go to a junkyard and pull one

I meant pull a wire out of a junked jeep

That link he posted should help ^^

It's a 2 piece wire, plug the male end of the new one into the radio, female end will meet another male end in the passenger kick panel

once you rip out the old wire you will find out where it goes back to,( pass kick panel)
than make your connection there and refish the wire thru dash

if it looks like getting the new wire back thru the dash is gonna be real hard, tape a metal coat hanger to the end of the old wire, before you start pulling it thru the dash, make sure its long enuff to have some left over that you can pull on (or old piece of wire something fairly stiff)
than tape new wire on the end and use that to get the wire back up thru the dash, of course if the wire makes any real tight turns this isnt going to work make sure its taped up tight or the two will seperate within the dash and youre out of luck

in that link the end of the wire that connects to the wire that goes to the base is rubber. while the current one is metal. will that rubber go over that spring or what?

show me both ends of what you are looking at in youre truck
there should be a male end and a female end, the male end goes into the radio the female(the one covered in rubber should fit into the male end that comes from the antenna outside. but i cant tell from your picture what is up with yours and ive never had mine apart so im not sure exactly whats down there
i see the spring thing on the floor whats the wire to the right of the picture?
on the wire you are holding, is there something connected to it? another wire, (male/female connector)

Okay so the link you've showed me has a male end and a female end. It look exactly like what I need but when I get to the panel. The female end is a metal part that connects to a spring thing that then leads to the base of the antenna. What I wanna know is if I can cover the spring up with the rubber. Or if I need a metal female end.
