Here is the Bastards setup for now. I like where it is quite a bit, but am thinking bout my other radio for it. A ranger freedom one. The hardest part of any cb install (which i have done many on various vehicles) is getting the radio to tune properly. Granted i run tuned up radios, Use to drive a 18 wheeler so i like em loud and proud. Just make sure you properly tune your radio. Whether there tuned up or not running to high a swr will burn up your radio. Your radio placement should be some place conveinant to get to and see. Your antenna placement is the more critical of the two. You want your radio to be lower than your stinger. you want your stinger placed somewhere to get the least amount of abuse. My preference is to run a steel whip, due to they are more durable and easily tunable to any radio. fiberglass whips have a tendency to break easier. The other thing to look for is good coax. A flimsy coax screws with swr's and is more likely to break internally.

Hope that helps you out any ?'s feel free to ask

Almost forgot there are pics of my stinger setup, As well as my scanner. Scanners are also nice to be able to see whats happening around you. I run a uniden bc350, i have everything from police fire ems weather aviation and a private bank. i run a through glass antenna on it, and it works great.
