My antenna motor keeps on running and the antenna doesn't move. I can move the antenna up and down by hand since it doesn't catch when the motor runs. I disconnected the battery and connected it again and it still ran, even with the ignition off. I'd rather not take apart the front end to get to it, so is there any other way I can get it to stop? I don't want to drive it like this because I'm afraid the motor will heat up and catch on fire.
The wiring for the antenna is accessed behind the panel on the lower right inside the vehicle. Two phillips screws hold it on. Disconnect the power and motor will stop. I would recommend finding the cause though. On the wiring diaghram I don't see a fuse just for the antenna. But here's some wiring info from:

I unplugged the thick antenna wire and it still happened. Am I supposed to cut a wire somewhere? The only grey wire I see going to the antenna motor has no end to disconnect.
The "thick antenna wire" is for the radio signal only. Yes, you must cut the wire. Then tape it to protect from futher issues. You may need to cut all the wires to the power antenna if the prob is internal to the unit. I truly love to hate power accessories! It is fairly easy to remove the power antenna and replace with a non powered one.

Yeah, I realized the thick wire was for the signal. Dumb moment on my part
My dad came out to see what I was doin and traced the grey wire to a little connector where all 3 wires came together. We unplugged that connector and the noise stopped
There was also another connector right beside it going into the same block, but I have no idea what that does. My dad said this happened once before and we just need to get a new motor, so I'll keep an eye out for one as time goes by. Right now I'm happy that my battery won't drain and the motor won't catch on fire from overworking itself. Thanks for the help guys!
