Default Another wheel hub question.

Hey everyone, I just got my new timken wheel hubs in the mail today. I ordered the new style ones (Ha597449 or something like that).

Anyway, I have the older style hp d30 with the disconnect (91 and under xj, or 96 and under wrangler), but under closer inspection had the wheel hub with the larger raised portion (new style)(cast rotor judging by the square shoulder too).

So clearly, they've been changed before to the newer style. After putting the new timken hub on and preparing for re assembly, I found out that the rotor I have won't fit on the timken hub.

The rotor I have has an ID that is too small, so the rotor wont even slide onto the new hub. So i did more poking and found that the new hub is actually longer by 100 thou (2.5 mm for you metric people).

I'm so confused. Is it just my rotor that's wrong now? why should it be wrong if i had the new style hubs and cast rotors to begin with? Halp me lol
