another track bar question ....
When i got my lift kit installed, the guy never suggested to me anything to do with the track bar, about a month after i had been driving it the bolt on the axle side started to wollow out the hole and the nut backed off all the threads on the bolt. When i crawled under neath my truck i noticed the bolt was half way hanging out with no threads or nut !! Very close to something bad happening !! I spoke with him shortly after and he said the manufactuer said that i could run a stock track bar, apparently not !!
I was just wondering if anyone has experienced anything like this.....?
My biggest concern is that the hole on the bracket (axle side) wollowed out slightly, so im just wondering if this is going to keep happening, if i should consider having a new bracket fabricated and welded .... Anything that can help will be greatly appreciated .

The biggest thing that I have ever heard of if it made a big enough hole is to get a fairly thick washer welded to the bracket so that it will keep the track bar in the original spot without having to modify anything. That is the easiest way that I personally know of to fill the opening.
you will always have an issue if the hole is bigger then its suposed to be the track bar will have play and most likely cause DW probably best bet is to get a new track bar bracket

Drill a new hole for your bolt about an inch to the right of the old on the bracket. That should align your front end, less wobbles, proper alignment, problem probably solved.

I would dare say if you are really wanting to keep the agility up and make it more capable in the long run, I would suggest getting the adjustable trackbar... I believe howler was in the process of making some for sale so look him up. I like the looks of his products.
