Are you the guy who left the only review? Lol.

I have prime so if the rad goes bad on my 99 I will be grabbing that CSF.

I just googled real quick they are all around $200-$230 some free shipping, some not. Weird though, the 3 row is almost the same price. I don't know if one is better than the other though.

The other places I looked were 230-250. Yes that was my review, because the part numbers were weird. But the right thing showed up.

RadiatorBarn got bought out, that was another supplier referenced here.

Just wanted to give another go-to option.

Is the 2 or 3 row core any thicker than the OE 1 row core?

I don't think so. I had one of these 2 row CSF in my XJ for 2 years and you know the heating concerns I had. On long hills / mountain climbs I would grace 230* if the weather was hot.

When I fixed my A/C about a month ago I took out the the CSF and put in a stock aluminum / plastic rad from NAPA. (Spectra Premium) I am experiencing a night and day difference from the painted copper/brass CSF.

From my measurement when I had the CSF out, the fins are not any thicker than the stock given the gap between them. The stock NAPA radiator coupled with a new dealership tstat (the Motorad kind), a new a/c condensor and a ZJ fan clutch have really put my mind at ease regarding keeping my XJ cool this summer. I don't think I've even been to 210* yet sitting in traffic or climbing a hill in 90+ ambient in the past month. (Disclaimer: I still need to do some more testing to really gauge how much better my cooling system is. Your mileage my vary of course. )

The 2 row CSF is about 1 1/2 inches wider than the NAPA rad if that matters.

Don't bother with old-fashioned copper and brass. Aluminum is the only way to go.

Great info to know......for once, a comparison of 2 virtually equal condition rads (aftermarket 2 row and OE 1 row) vs comparing an old plugged OE 1 row with a new clean 2 row aftermarket. Apples to apples camparison vs apples to oranges.

Looks like your results prove that 1 1/2" extra width and extra row adds zero, zip, nada extra cooling performance. Thanks again.

Good reading. Still comes with a lifetime warranty. Will let you know if they honor it.
