Default Am i missing a part

Had a friend come look at my jeep and he pointed out I might be missing a part at the top drivers side of the firewall. You can see the wires are cut and spliced like there bypassed. Here's a pic. And it's an 87 Cherokee 4.0

I have an 87 4.0 I6
I will take a pic tmrw and post up what I find - see if we cant get you on the right track.
Hopefully by noonish.

As well, mine only came with 1 fan so it might just be an "added option" thing that we didnt get.

If you don't have ac, you don't get an aux fan.

You do need the fan shroud around the mechanical fan though.

That will seriously improve cooling.

so shroud around mechanical fan. could you install a toggle switch to the aux fan so it would run manually or is it hooked up to some sensor or computer that if re wired would F up a bunch of stuff.

I have AC and only 1 fan - but i have a fan shroud
but my ac dont work - R12 coolant - im not going to bother to recharge it either - i have 4x70 air

Here are some pictures of my back firewall - if they arent large enough send me a pm with your email address and I will email the originals to you.
But it looks like your tag is the same - so that is what you are missing.

Is that some sort of ECU. Is yours a auto or manual. Maybe that's for the transmission controller? Mine is a manual
