I have 5 inches of lift and 31's can I still take the corners fast? Will 33 12.50's stabilize it better?

dude i have 4.5" and 31x10.50 with 3.5" backspacing wheels. i took off the rear swaybar and now i can take corners like a sportscar.

 

YES!! At 5" of lift, you will roll taking corners fast. The Bigger the tire the slower you have to be going to roll.

 

lol im running 9 inches of lift an 36s and havent had a prob yet but it doesnt see pavement. if you want to to go fast do what i done and what huntingman said, get a camaro. talking about 130 mph around a curve

 

I drive my cherokee fairly fast and wanted to know if it would be safe. I wish I had enough money to buy a mustang. Im 16 in high school. All my extra money goes into my jeep. I figured tires that stuck out farther would keep it more stabile.

they will... but you shouldnt be driving aroud corners fast anyways... not in a dang SUV man... lol... im 25 and have had my fare share off fast cars... built 01 Z24 cavalier, 70 impala 400/400, 72 chevy pickup 350/350, 03 cummins built burnin 37's off it... my cherokee runs 31's and i can burn through 1st, 2nd, and bark third... but i dont take corners fast cause its a SUV! lol...

P.S. ive been pulled over 42 times now... 42 times in 10 years of driving... thats pretty crappy of me i guess... lol... BUT i have a clean driving record... and never been in a accident... EVER... thats because as much as nobody believes me when i say this... im smart about how i drive bad... lol

 

I don't do any crazy stuff but there are lots of S turns up hills rated at 25 and I usually take them at 45. Its not bad for one with 3 inch lift. I just wondered if it would be significantly worse with 5 inches of lift. I have a 1967 Ranchero to be ready to drive this summer. I will probably drive it when I feel the need to drive a car that could go fast. No, I don't plan on terrorizing the roads all the fun is done in the mud

 

dang dude. 42 times????? i don't think i'll get pulled over that many times in my lifetime. i've been pulled over a few times on my zx6, but 42????? that's outrageous. cops must hate your guts

 

 

I have a 6.5 lift and I still drive it like I stole it.

 

Ya just slow it down on the road. unless you are doing a road trip 15 miles an hour isnt ganna make a differents. I dont know how many people have kids on here but I do and the people that drive like @#$ holes around me is just stupid and senseless. Just take your time and slow dow. Its not even the cops you have to worry about cops its the people next to you with kids in the car you can hurt.
