quarter turn test on belt thats tight enough...

 

I just took my alternator and brackets today. There was no way to get it out through the bottom. All you have to do it get that batter box out of the way and your set to go. Mine were rusted like crazy too. So what happened was I was doing my best to lossen them and all three of them broke on me. I guess I'll have to drill more holes and replace the bolts. But man can I tell you what those bolts where tough! good luck to you
