Alternator
So I have a 95 xj and my alternator has gone bad I’m not really the best with cars but I’ve been told that there are 2 types of alternators and I’m just curious how to tell the difference and I have a right hand drive so my alternator is a top mount just curious if this changes anything ? Thanks for the help

Nothing on either Rockauto.com or Autozone.com indicate any part variation. There seems to be only a choice between 90 amp (OEM) or 120 amp (Upgrade). If there were a difference due to it being a RHD, that would be noted.
I think you're good to go - I would remove the alternator and take it to a local parts retailer (Autozone, Advance, etc) and have them bench test it just to be sure it's bad.
Prior to doing anything else, I'd clean and tighten all your grounds and battery cables to make sure you're not just dealing with a loose or corroded connection.
