Sup guys I need help once again I'm trying to figure out why Hayley(ma jeep) is making a ticking noise... Not a know but a tick tick tick it starts when she's warm and if I shut her down it will tick as if there's some fluid that is dripping on some piece of hot metal I was trying to figure out were it's coming from and I put my ear to the end of the exhausts and it sounded like it came from inside the problem is I just got it replaced and it started to tick a bit after I changed out the broken muffler for a glass pack I'm not sure what's going on I'm scared my tranny might be getting to hot and that's the tranny fluid but its not burning it. I'm going to try to take it back to the place were I got my muffler welded and see if they could take a look at her. Help? Thanks
Quick overview
-Ticking coming from the mid section/rear
-Fluids at the proper levels/ not burning
-no smoke coming from the tail pipe

If its only doing it when you turn it off while hot no worries. Metal makes ticking noises while its cooling and shrinking especially when its new :-)

It sounds like two different issues with a similar sound.
While running: Exhaust leak
After you turn it off: Oil dripping into the windage tray or metal shifting or whatever else

Metal expands and contracts when heated or cooled. Every vehicle makes a "tick tick tick tick" when turned off after operation. Its the exhaust pipes contracting because theyre cooling.
