Greetings jeepsters!

Ok, so 300k on motor, heart surgery in progress, parts acquisition in progress.... (91 Cherokee, 4.0L)

Freakin' internet search is driving me f-n nuts.

simple questions and searches come up with crap like F150 A/C hoses, or Mercedes A/C lines etc etc etc.

I am looking SPECIFICALLY for parts that are R134a specific. In my case the FOUR (4) A/C lines with the built in Suction and discharge quick-disconnects on the hoses. (suction & discharge)

I already have ordered the drier, compressor, condensor,expansion valve.

Every site I went to has the hoses but are NOT, I repeat, NOT R134a specific.

This is giving me a headache! the hoses I see and the few places I have called ( APW/parts train/ parts geek/rockauto etc) all say same thing, those are R12 hoses sir, they dont have the quick connects on them.

This I find to be odd as the hoses I have ( and now disassembled) already had (or have) built in to them the quick-connects for evacuating and charging the system.... I have to replace as they have become corroded and as I am having motor rebuilt anyway, I would like to get the same ones.....

Like I said, I seem to not be able to locate them.. online....

Anyone know of source which has those exact style?

From what I gather your doing this for the quick disconnects? If you're. Just buy the adapters and save yourself the frustration.

Funny but Ol' RED had this system when I bought it new in 1991..

weird it would have '96 hoses etc on system back then.. everything on catalog diagram you attached for the 1996 model A/C system components is what was on mine.. even the 709T R134a MOPAR compressor...

You may not be able to get the '96 parts from the dealer but the OEM part numbers are good for cross reference to aftermarket parts.
