I think 91 to 96 are the same, but there are two different sizes, 20 gallon and I think 15 gallon. 97 to 2001 are different from the earlier years.

The factory seems to have installed a pump in mine that causes it to drain while I drive between service stations. Need to refill almost daily. It would be trajic to add a hole leak the liquid gold away even faster. As far as I can find the tank is constant for electic pump applications from 84 to 01. (there were mechanical pumps on 4 cyl models, I am not sure if the tank in that application was the same with just a different pickup unit). Insure your replacement tank has the front passenger side mount hole for the pump install. I really like to use a fresh oring gasket and lock ring (often comes with new pumps but not always) if you reuse your originals clean well and apply grease to lube and allow easier reinstall without tearing the o ring. Caution on the used tanks. Have a real good look inside, partial tank fill can allow condensation overnight and water into fuel through the life of the tank. Leads to rust and tanks can rust from the inside out. Compare your used price to availability of new replacement. I have added (slit one end and clamp on) 3/4 dia 90 deg copper elbow to the vent hard line inside of the tank, raises the vent level just a little allowing more of the tank capactity to accept fuel (+ 6-8 liters). It's a pita to install one handed, blind, by feel, but if you are patient you can extend your range. Just an idea. Good luck.

I also have a leak in my tank, when you fill it up past 3/4 it leaks the gold on the ground. Are there any special tools required for the tank removal, like for the lines?
