i beat up town fair and got 5 mounted,balanced,and they threw away my swampers for $900 normally about $190 each some site show 175 but hit you with shipping

i only went with the kooks cuz i knew them well and they last forever and are a great tire i had 35x12.50s on a truck i used to have

i just put a set of cooper discoverer ATR's on my xj... they have a decent tread pattern, a 50,000 mile treadlife waranty, and are a fair amount cheaper than some of the other brands i looked at.
the 30x9.5 LT tires have a more agressive and deeper tread than the p-metric sizes...
i would have loved to go with something like the cooper stt or a mud terrain, but i do more on-road driving than off, and didnt want to sacrifice too much rolling resistance.

so far i'm very happy with these tires...never had a problem with the cooper brand either.

just a lesser known option for good tires....and made in the USA!

The rally guys in NZ love the Generals, theyre an awesome tyre
Ive got some 32x11.50x15 Bridgestone Dueler ATs and they are absolute rubbish, not worth the rims I scored for free theyre on

I like BFG Mud terrains. Been using them for close to 20 years-Excellent tires, Good traction, good street manners.

i also agree on the nitto terra grapplers,, have had a set for over a year and they still look like new tread
