I need to go the u-pick-it and find front ds cause mines wobbling at the slip joint. I'd like to know if I need a specific year or tcase or axle etc. I have a 2001 with a np231 and d30. Thanks

No, autos and manuals have different length shafts, maybe a difference between hi-pinion and low-pinion D/30s.
You should be able to do a search and find the drive shaft lengths.

NO. Unfortunately Chrysler made a BUNCH of different size front driveshafts. There is a chart somewheres that lists the lengths. Seems to depend on the t-case, tranny and front axle type. Also seems to matter what day they built the darn thing sometimes.
