Default All around LED light install

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I installed LED headlights, side marker lights, turn signals, all 6 1157 LEDs for taillights and a LED license plate light on my 97 Cherokee. With lights on at night I will turn a signal on either way turning onto roads and it will give out that annoying buzzing sound from the switch with no signal. Sometimes the signal turns on and sometimes it buzzes with no signal. I’m sure someone knows the culprit/fix. Thanks!

I didn't do the headlights but did do a write up about installing LED's in my '00.
Maybe something in there will help.
But not familiar with the particular problem you describe.

The leds dont require as much power as regular bulbs, so your turn signal relays wont work right. You will most likely need to install ballast resistors and relays that will work with your led setup.

Above is 100% correct. More resistance is needed.

Isn't that only true for modern cars that use a CAN bus system to control the lights? Then again, it sure seems to be the case in this situation.

The leds mess with the canbus systems because it's all run off body control modules that are sensed to tell the computer when you have lights out. These Jeeps don't have any of that mess in them. Just 97 and later ecu is canbus,

The flasher module works on current draw and needs resistance of standard bulbs to function otherwise it gets weird. You need to add resistors.

Great video showing the how and why of flasher relays.

easy

get rid of the led flashers and put incandescent globes back in

There is no gain in having LED indicators. None

Or keep mucking around and having stupid problems with them

The brightness is awesome on led lights. However, most of them will not develop enough heat to melt snow in the winter. So you gotta de- snow them in the winter.Which kind of sucks. Only my headlights are led.
