Alignment Help
Hey guys,
So my axle is shifted to the drivers side about an inch or 2. the tire sticks out of the fender and the other is under it. my control arm is shifted to the drivers side aswell and my passenger coil has a bend cause of the offset. But the thing is when i take my hands off the wheel it goes straight. Doesnt drastically move to the right or left. I am going to try to get my alignment done tomorrow, what do you guys think? Cause if its off a few inches i dont wanna align it and have it pull to the right or left. Any suggestions.
Thanks

Is there a lift in it? did you check your track bar? when you lift it say 4-5 inches the track bar will pull the axle to the left "Drivers side" you need to install a adjustable track bar

You can drill a new hole in the track bar bracket at the axle about 3/4 inches to the right and that should get it closer. thats what my lift kit suggested if i did not buy a adjustable track bar.

A drop bracket there? at the axle? does it drop the hole stright down? to me that sounds like it would make your problem worse. i now have an adjustable track bar and drop bracket but it is up top at the frame.

ok sounds funny to me . i'd love to see a pic of it. tomorrow take the bottom bolt out of the track bar and see if the body moves over an inch and gets better. if it does for sure thats your problem. dont drive it with your track bar disconnected ! jus to see if it moves back you may have to shake the front alittle.

the way you center your axle under you xj is take track bar loose at either end un lock steering and turn steering wheel the cab will move over axle get as close as you can to center and adjust track bar out.
