so i'm putting an auto start alam on my 1992 cherokee sport 4.0 HO auto
the back doors and rear hatch don't make the dome light turn on. has anyone found a way to make them work with the dome light. or have any tips?

Umm i have a 93 and when i open my back doors and hatch the dome light turn on.

So if your dome light dont turn on when your open those doors your door jam switches are bad.

i don't see any door switches like in the front doors

The switch is inside the rear hatch. Works off of the lock mechanism.

My door jam switches for my rear door are on the inside of the door jam.

If you dont have door jame switches for some reason do you have a base model maybe some models didnt get them but that doesnt make much sense.

i'll take some pictures tomorrow of the doors that way you have a better idea.
