Ive got a 2000 XJ Sport with both passenger and driver side airbags deployed. I'd like to leave the airbags out if possible. Will the engine run without the airbags being replaced?

 

biggest issue is liability and insurance. the rig will run. however if you get into an accident and you don't have air bags insurance companies will use that as a way to not pay. If you have a passenger in the car and they are hurt or killed because the air bag didn't go off you are now liable for their injuries or death. just my .02

 

ok thanks for the help. I intend to replace the airbags later but I am making major repairs and installing the lift first.
