Airbag module question / stuck on parking brake removal
I'm halfway through replacing my parking brake lever and found out there is an air bag module cover the last bolt to remove the old lever.
Is it ok to unscrew this module for the a little while to get this last bolt. The battery has been disconnected for about 2 hours so far.

i would drain any residual power before messing with it. nothing like an airbag to the face to ruin your day. take your pos and neg off your battery and touch them together for 10-15 seconds. that will drain any power that has stored anywhere in the electical system

I did what you said and was able to unscrew the module for long enough to get the last bolt. Finally have a parking brake again.
I need to do some more electrical work so I left the battery unplugged till tomorrow, hopefully the airbag doesn't pop when I hook it back up. :-)
