Default Airbag light - Module reset?

I had to replace my emergency brake lever on my '98 Cherokee Sport. While doing this I had to move the airbag module that is under the center counsel. I did not realize that I should have disconnected the battery before I touched the module. When I moved the module it basically got flipped upside down. And ever since then the airbag light has been on. Is there a reset button somewhere to get the light to go out? I tried disconnecting the battery for a while but that didn't do anything.

I realize this is an ancient thread, but it never got an answer, and I am in the exact same situation. Any ideas aside from checking fuses and disconnecting battery?

Did you flip the ABCM upside down or are you just seeing an Airbag light on?

Both, I think. I pulled out the module and I think it got flipped as I was taking it out. I took the Jeep to the shop to have the codes run and it came back as a loss of power to the system. The circuit breaker (#22) was popped but I replaced it with another 20A so I'm not sure where else it would be losing power aside from the module.

The Airbag Control Module is powered from two fuses located in the Junction Block.

Fuse 26 and fuse 27.

Edit: F22 in the JB is for the rear wiper/washer system.

The ACM is grounded at the drivers seat front attach structure on the floor.

The Airbag system goes through the clockspring, which may be at fault(?)
