Air Conditioning/ Overheat Situation

Sorry if this has been covered in another thread, but i searched for over an hour. My 96 Cherokee has a new tstat and has been flushed but continues to run hot, only when the a/c is on. As long as no a/c is running, engine temp is good. Any advice?

Bet that the auxiliary fan isn't coming on. It should come on when the AC is turned on and run constantly. Either the fan is bad, the connection is loose, or the relay is bad.
