My clutch doesn't engage on the ac pump. What is the best way to jump the clutch or test the switch. 1996 Cherokee. I'm hot! help! Also I tries to charge system and without the pump running it would take the fluid

If you have gauges hooked up and they're reading normal check the AC fuse(s). More than likely the culprit. You could have a compressor going south if it pops again.

You have to jump the Swithch which is located on the Acum. Use a paper clip and see if your clutch kicks on. If it does then try to fill. If it doesn check fuse, relay. If those are good then you may have a compressor going bad
