Hey im looking for a 1 GAL or 2 GAL air compressor. I want small so I can install it in my jeep. I have a 3000 watt inverter to use with it. Also I want the air compressor to beable to run a 1/2in impact wench.

Any one know of any compressors that size that can run a impact wrench?

I have one from Sears. But it won't run on my 1750 watt inverter. There are two inverter designs. Iron ring and electronic. Mine is electronic as yours probably is. They do not have a perfect sine wave AC. It is AC, but it lops off the top of the wave. This type of electricity will not start a motor that does not have a start capacitor. All the new motors don't have start or run capacitors. You can get it plug it in and take it right back if you find it doesn't work. It cost me $90 at the time. I use it for a spare in the garage now.
