Hey All,

Just picked up a '97 Cherokee Sport. I have heard that adding a transmission cooler, especially if I will be wheeling, is a must have addition.

Been doing some searching, but still have some questions.

There is a stock transmission cooler, correct?

Do most simply mount an oversized cooler in the stock position? new lines and fittings usually required?

has anyone done a write up? could not find one under search.

can anyone recommend a good cooler?

We've installed B&M #70264 coolers (+/-$65) on several different vehicles including the XJ just following the instructions provided in the kit. Just have to get a little creative when mounting the cooler. Ours is installed inline with and after the factory cooler located in the radiator.
