Default Aftermarket Amsoil oil filter bypass?

So I finally got myself a Jeep. Its a 1987 Cherokee 4.0 and now I'm addicted. Anyway I was looking around under the hood inspecting everything, seeing what needed replaced etc. On the drivers side of the engine bay the previous owner mounted an Amsoil oil filter bypass. From what I understand It doesn't really bypass the oil filter more like it is an extra filter in the process. I am getting ready to Seafoam it and change the oil and filter and all that good stuff. My main question here is should I add more oil than to the "full" mark on the dipstick because of this extra filter and the accompanying tubeing that goes with it?

Any advice or help is greatly appriciated. Ill post pictures at some point and I'm sure ill annoy you all with a bunch of other novice questions.

Yes.. you increase the amount of oil you add over the stock, 5.5-6 qts. How much depends on which by-pass filter was being used.

Here is the link to the information at the Amsoil web site.
http://www.amsoil.com/storefront/eabp.aspx

If you scroll down the page it has a chart showing the additional capacity of the by-pass filters and some other information.

Thanks for the help! I feel silly now for not just going to the Amsoil Site and looking it up.
