putting the new motor in my 93 cherokee tonight and was just wanting to make sure i was thinking right on setting the timing ive done it on v8s and all this is my first 4.0 build. so feel free to correct me if im wrong.

1. get cylinder 1 top dead center on compression stroke and by lining up timing marks on dampener and timing cover.

2.drop distributor in rotor button should be facing round 5 o'clock

3. line point for plug 1 up with rotor button.

Am i missing anything ?
