Default Advice for my sloppy ride

'89 with 250k...this jeep is great but I am tired of feeling like it can tip over...speed bumps feel like a roller coaster...what can I do, cheaply, to get a tighter ride? I would really like a sports car feel. I don't go off road much...just trips to ski and to the beach to skimboard. Any cheap ideas? I want to keep stock height. thanks

replace the front control arm bushings and replace you shocks. replace the swayback bushings as well this should tighten the jeep back up and get it handling better

I agree with racer,I put a set of daystar cotroll arm bushing's in my 92 and it was a nite and day differance.and at 250k new coils wont hurt either, and like he said shocks and sway bar bushings, you should be able to pick it all up for around 250.00 bucks.
Quadra tec has the day star bushing kit for about 70.00 and stock coil's are 30.00 a piece. You should be able to get shocks for 30.00 to 40.00 per shock just about any where.
