breaking a TRE on a trackbar on the trail is a GREAT time. dont ruin your day, everyone you're running with's day, and risk not being able to drive home safely.

I'm using rustys new HD adj. track bar. its got a big threaded end up at the frame mount with a bushing instead of a tre. It bolts into thier HD frame mount.

Anything can fail on the trail and relocating it 3/4 of an inch is not gonna hurt it anymore than it was already. Plus at 3in there isn't much hardcore wheeling you can do to mess it up. I will move to ADJ once I lift to 4.5+. At 3in though Keep it Cheap and just relocate it. While you save up for the nice JKS one.

This is for a 3in lift. You are really close to just needing an upgrade.

But doesn't hurt to try it.

so...

you cant wheel "hardcore" with 3" of lift? let me just go relive the 6 hours of my friend's cherokee (with a 3" lift mind you) breaking a frame side TRE on the trail, babying the jeep off the trail (which was up a high black rated boulder-ridden hill climb, the 10 MPH drive 4 miles to a gas station, the 40 minute drive to a junkyard, half an hour pulling a stock trackbar, then drilling out the broken TRE in the rain under a muddy jeep.

fun.

Howler GT is supposed to be manufacturing his own adjustable trackbar using the stock bar i believe. I wonder if this is still in the works?
