Default Adding some more lift to my 2" BB...

Alright so I've got a 2" BB with 31"s and want a little more height... If I did the XJ main-leaf bastard pack and V8 ZJ coils up front how much lift would that provide? About 1" on each end?

Also, would I need longer brakelines and/or an SYE for this?

I think the ZJ springs add about an inch and you could add some leafs for an inch I'd think. As for SYE hard to say all jeeps are different and some do and some don't Only way to know is do the lift and test it. Probably wouldn't need longer lines but if you you can use I think YJ lines.

The only thing I'm weary about is needing an SYE because that is way out of my budget for now. Just wishing for a little extra clearance til I can afford some skids, etc.

you could swap your front coils for 2" rustys coils- and they get either another BB like a teraflex or add a 3/4" spacer/shackle from daystar.

i did just what your talking about. i added the main and second leafs to my pack (with the heads cut off of obviously) and the 5.9L ZJ front coils. i netted 1.75 in the front and a whopping 3" in the rear. now i have to put spacers up front to level out. WARNING: this combination DOES stiffen the rear end!!

Did you notice the need for an SYE or longer brakelines?

I would be adding the bastard pack and coils to my TeraFlex BB.
