added cruise.. doesnt work..
I sourced all the parts from a jeep that was being parted out, servo, vac line, column with cruise switches (I just took the whole thing instead of swapping everything). I installed everything, but it won't work. The horn works, so I Imagine the clockspring is good. No vaccuum leaks (all the climate controls work just fine), the dash light doesn't come on when I'm trying to activate it and I got no cruise. What would I be looking for if I were to trouble shoot the servo clockspring and switch with my multimeter? Or where should I start?

Brake pedal up completes the circuit for the cruise control. As soon as you step on the brake pedal that breaks the circuit for the cruise control and illuminates the brake lamps.

Check your switches. I originally installed switches I was told came from a '98, but when the cruise wouldn't work I checked the S/Ns and they were for a '99. The resistances are different on different switches and are not compatible. Once I got '98 switches it worked great!
Good luck!
