i got about 2.5 of lift from a 2inch on a 86 xj, but then about 1 month later i only had 2 and within six months I was down to only about 1 inch and threw the things away. It was some ebay super deal, what a joke.

There is a company though that makes what I found to be a pretty good add a leaf made called mako, at least the set I bought from them held on strong. I put them on an 88xj that I sold to my brother who still runs around in it 3 years later and still holding up well.

I only suggest add a leafs as a temp solution though, they work to lift but not to articulate.

RE 2.5" Long AAL for about 1.5 years and no sagging. I guess it helped that the OE springs only had approx. 53k on them.

Do the rear first and see where you sit. The front is easy to ajust to the same hight with coil spacers.
