AC vacuum hoses

AC vacuum hoses
1998 Jeep Cherokee 4.0L. No recent work done to the AC unit.
Just very recently, whenever I have my AC on and step on the gas pedal it causes all air to start coming out of my defrosters only regardless of what setting its currently on but as soon as my foot isn't touching the gas, the air comes out of the proper vents again. It kinda sounds like a vacuum hose issue, I just don't know where to start.

if there still run by vacuum in your year sounds like the check valve inside the vacuum storage can is no good install a new valve in line from motor to can in the vacuum line

they sell vacuum check valves a auto parts stores just cut the vacuum line from motor to ball and stick it in
