Ac removal
I am also looking to remove my ac system. I already removed the ac coil (removed after hitting a tree), and was wondering how your jeep is doing. My ac never worked since I bought it and have no desire to fix it. The compressor wheel is still spinning freely on the serpentine belt so my plan was to leave that but take the rest of the hoses and such out. Thoughts?
thanks!
thanks!

You can do that or get a a/c bypass bracket that removes the compressor and installs a bracket with a pulley on top of the old compressor mount points. If you live someplace cold or snowy i would remove the condenser also. 2 years ago my compressor pulley locked so i removed it ..no issue but in the winter the condenser now stays cold and all the slop and slush now gets sprayed onto the cold condenser and freezes...blocking the airflow to the radiator causing overheat. Now without the condenser, all that stuff now directly hits a hot radiator and melts...no more issues
