Default AC bypass

I have an extra serpentine belt I had bought last yr in my backseat but my compressor is going. Should I go with a standard auto zone ac bypass?

What do you mean by "standard atuozone a/c bypass" is that some kind of a bracket and pulley replacement for the a/c compressor?
Thanks,
