So I jut bought this xj few months ago and after looking at some things I noticed that there are some new metal lines, I'm guessing where the ac is, so basically what I am asking is what are these lines for? Did the previous owner most likely put in a new ac system? Sorry for the newbness but I was curious of what had been done.

Looks a new Evaporator was installed in the dash. Thank yourself, that is not something you want to do.
