Default AC Problem

Ok so it's gonna be in the 90's starting Tommorow. I just found the ac relay in the console, plugged it in . the compressor comes on for 2 seconds then cuts out for about 10 seconds.it keeps cycling steady like this.the air blows cool like its trying.I checked R-134 pressure it was very high on my cheapo gauge
I dumped(environmentally correct) some now it's in the normal range. No change.the e fan does work. The compressor cycles even when it's on the heat setting.prob why PO pulled the relay
Where should I start diagnosing?any
Suggestions?

Thanks

What was the pressure? And we're you on the low side or high side?
Low side has smaller valve..

As soon as it gets to 45 the clutch engages
For 2 seconds
Thanks for any help!

Now it's 64 psi

24psi
It's cycling 4seconds on 8 seconds off
Am I getting warmer? No pun intended!
Thanks
BTW it was only engaging for 2 seconds when it was way overcharged (in the red on the gauge warning !)
I'm doing this at the local bar! Ha
