Oh and while you have the belt off check all the pulleys make sure they move freely. Except your balancer, if that moves I think there's a problem.

I have looked at new belt prices its not that bad. We are going to put the new water pump in today ill take pics and hopeful the noise will stop. If not its the belt.

replace the belt while your at it your gonna have it off any ways and its cheap just do it and get and idler to just for peace of mind

If u do the t-stat, radiator, hoses and water pump at the same time, u only have to drain/refill coolant once instead of 4 times. When the radiator is out, the water pump and t-stat can almost be changed blindfolded.
