So I have a 01 XJ and my AC compressor seized up and needs fixing. I did a lot of searching and considered just repairing the clutch or doing a delete, but I decided just replacing it would be best for me.

Here's the problem, I went to a junkyard and their system said a 97 Dodge Dakota AC Compressor would fit my 01 XJ. Well, it doesn't, because it's too long. My question is, do I just need to get the bracket out of the Dakota too, or is the yard's part system just wrong? Thanks for the help!
