So last weeks heat made me own up and take my 98 Classic in to have the heat looked at. It blows cold when it's cold out but if it gets above 75 it just blows hot air. The shop did a service on it and couldn't find any leaks, all the electrical worked fine but they thought there was an electrical short in the compressor. They wanted $920 to replace the comp., dryer and refrigerant. For that much, i'll have schweddy *****.

So here's my question, I've had electrical issues with the gauges/interior lights/radio not working (keeps blowing the fuse), when this happens the door locks go on the fritz. These are wired separately so any links are purely coincidental. Do you guys think there is a bigger electrical issue? Possibly ECU or grounding?

Any thoughts would help. Schweddy ***** and the lack of tunes makes driving it not so much fun.
