AC bypass pulley compatibility
Hi Folks,
My AC compressor on my 1993 XJ is busted and making a horrible noise. I have looked everywhere for a bypass puller for a 1993 4.0 HO engine. Nobody seems to sell them.
However, I did find a local NAPA that has the same part for a 1993 grand cherokee. The ac compressor has 4 bolts and the bypass pulley has three, but it does not look like it should make a difference as this is just a bracket and a spinning wheel.
My question is, simple is the 1993 4.0 the same for the cherokee and grand cherokee, and will this a/c bypass pulley (listed for the 1993 grand cherokee) work in my 1993 cherokee?
