Default ABS sensor line

Hey everyone. Just replaced my stock shocks on the xj this past weekend they were toast. I was about to remove the front passenger bar pin nut, and noticed a line was crunched between the barpin and mount. I did remove and replace the new shock over top because I thought it was my brake line, but of course after reinspecting it was not the brake hose. I am guessing that this is the sensor cable? It looks like it runs under the axle but torward the wheel, and is thinner in diameter than the brake hose. Since the swap the abs light has come on. I am guessing that this cable (assuming the sensor) that was crunched between is an entire unit, and would it be easier to pick a JY one to replace? I am also wondering where it runs to. Any help is appreciated!
