Default Bad springs????

So my 96 saggs in the rear end was wondering if my leafs are bad if it's normal for jeeps to do it and I know s-10 springs are compatible does it matter what year s-10 or 2wd or 4wd ??

It appears so, My 2001 sags also, I am planning on replacing the whole pack. I thought about just adding helpers but I am just going todo it right and replace the whole thing.

My 96 did the same thing and was so bad I couldn't put new tires on so I just replaced them with OEM springs (lifting wasn't in the budget). Also I ran mine for almost 2 years sagging like that, but as for the S-10 springs check the stickied JY parts thread to see what does and doesn't fit and I think the only difference is lift height but not to sure

S10 springs are not a REPLACEMENT for XJ springs.. They are the same width but are longer and the eyes are upside-down.. Being the same width you can cut the eyes off and ADD them to your stock main, and mi9x with the rest of your pack to get a lift from 1-4 inches, depending on combination of leafs used. I know any set from a 90's S-10/15 will work, don't know about latter years. Mines are from a 98 blazer. 2wd and 4wd S-10 used the same springs, with longer shackle on the 4x4.

We'll I am planning on putting a 3 inch Rough country kit on my jeep so would it be better to just put oem spring packs on it and any idea of what it might cost me for new ones .
Also it had the thought i have like 20 junkyards round me should I stay away from used springs ?
