Default abs brakes

Hi I tried to search but nothing. Do anti lock brakes give you a hard time off road? Could I some how unhook them just off road?

Someone posted on here before that you could pull the fuse and/or the relay and disable the ABS feature.

Why would ABS give you trouble off-road? Doing a lot of hard braking and skid-stops?

I couldn't find any reference to ABS giving a hard time off-road. I think that ABS would actually be beneficial off-road.

Never had or heard of a problem with ABS offroad in anything xept in late 80s and 90s Chebys .. but even them if U keep up on maintenance are kinda trouble free (laughs).

welcome to the forum and just pull the fuse if it is giving you issue but most don't mind it or have any issue with it

I can't stand ABS. But that's personal preference. I find with the way I brake I never set it on unless it's on purpose anyways.
