Hello fellow XJ head cases,

I have more or less made the sad decision to part ways with my 3" lifted, 130K miles '99 4x4 Cherokee Classic which is in great shape, but I cannot either register or sell it until it passes smog (I'm in California). It has a check engine light and won't pass smog until I find what I think is called an evap pump leak detector - part no. 04891412AD. Can't find one online, have only searched salvage yards a little bit so far. Does anyone have any hot tips?

The vehicle's liftgate is also out of commission and I am looking for 2 parts: the latch (55235643AD), and the link between handle and latch (55075860AB). They're also apparently not available online, and the local Jeep dealer says they haven't had any luck trying to find any of these parts.

I'd be most grateful if anyone has any ideas. Thank you,
