Hi guys,
Need to replace the CPS on my 99xj - 6cyl automatic 4wd
Believe 56027866AC is correct for the year but can't find a mopar replacement. Does anyone know if the 56027866AE will work in the 99? I couldn't find a definitive answer on compatibility, Thanks!

P.s. I have a cheap aftermarket replacement hopefully arriving today until I can track down a better one

 

Yes, the letters at the end typically denote some kind of revision. As long as the numeric part is the same, it should work just fine.

What brand aftermarket? If you can't find a Mopar one (expensive too), I'd opt for an NTK one.

Thanks for the info and link - I got one from standard motor products. The NTK one looks pretty decent from what I've read, I'll probably get that if I don't get a mopar one, appreciate the recommendation

 

I have a few Standard ones on my '88 (TPS, IAC) as well as NTK (O2).. My CPS conked out some years ago and I was able to find a Mopar at a local Jeep dealership (and still have my arms and legs).
