CPS
I need a new CPS and plan in buying Mopar. Any recommendations on any sites I can purchase it from it should I just go visit my local dealer?

I bought mine at the dealer just to be sure it's OEM. The dealer will ask you your VIN # to be sure you get the correct cps for your specific vehicle, It was $94. Ouch😣 but at least I know I got the right one.

Back a few months ago I was told by 3 dealerships that the CPS was on backorder with no build date for resupply. Also that there was 300 orders pending. I did find an OEM Mopar CPS for my Jeep from http://www.tonkinpartscenter.com/.
Hope this helps.... also...use the dealership to decode your vin and give you the correct part number...I think the 96 had 2 different part numbers for some reason.
