Morning everyone,
I have a crack in my manifold and will be replacing it this weekend. Im new to XJ's and wanted to get opinions on which manifold to purchase:
This is what I am looking at currently as it has the flex joints.

If anyone could give me some feedback on this particular manifold or if you have any other suggestions I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
Brett

I've been wondering about the effectiveness of those flex joints on the two end pipes. The middle 4 are all solid to the collector so I question if there is any "flexing" of those joints at all? Seems like superfluous engineering.

Can't speak to the parts but the stock design isn't awful and the pice is right. Headers are expensive and IMO just as likely to crack as the iron units.
I did this job a few months ago and boy was it a pain. Budget a day for this and be careful if you have to unbolt the power steering pump from the intake manifold. It's aluminum and if you cross thread a mounting bolt, enjoy the helicoil service. It's not super complex just time consuming. You will want a friend to help you too.
